Does Christmas roll around every year and you have a huge list of people to buy for? Try making a photo book. With online services they are super easy - and everyone from Grandma Sue to your best friend Kate will love it. In a couple of hours you can have a really shmick looking photo book on its way to production and a whole pile of people ticked off your list of people to buy for.
We like Picaboo because their quality, price and customer service are all great.

Are hundreds of CD's cluttering up your living room? Maybe it's time to go digital and copy them all over to a computer. You can then start buying all your music digitally which will save you money and space - and help save the planet!
I use my Ipod to play music through the stereo. It's really simple to make playlists for any occasion. And, I never have to worry about whether or not I put the cd back in its case. *blush*
I'm a big fan of ITunes but you can use any software you like. If your music collection is huge you may want to invest in some additional storage. We use a Western Digital 500GB which is great as there's enough room to back up our laptops as well.

Getting your finances under control can be a major project. With credit cards, bank accounts, car payments, the mortgage, bills, bills and more bills, keeping tabs on everything can be a real pain.
Get some good accounting software - preferably something that integrates with your accounts. I like Quicken - it does everything I need and automatically compiles all the information from all of my accounts into one place. It even reminds me when to pay the bills which I can't set up to pay automatically.

How much time have you wasted in your life lost? How much of that time was in the car wasting gas? Get a Satellite Navigation system - preferably a portable one - and save yourself lots of time, money and frustration!
Many phones these days come with satellite navigation so that may be an option as well. In either case, if you can take it with you then whether you're in your home town, or navigating the streets of Rome you'll always know where you're going.

There are several free online resources for learning to read or type faster. The faster you can do these things, the more time you'll save. Think about it - if you have to type 1,000 words a day and you type 35 words a minute that's 28.5 minutes. If you increase your typing speed to 50 words a minute you'll only need 20 minutes to type the same amount - 8.5 minutes a day can really add up.

Never seem to get around to reading that stack of books? Try leaving one in the car - or in you bag or briefcase. That way next time you get to an appointment and have to wait you'll have something handy to read - and work through that list.

When looking for the best travel deals it pays to use one of the sites that compiles deals from around the web in one place. I like Kayak because I always manage to find a good deal, the interface is really good - and I love being able to see what the prices have been for the trip I'm looking at. I've managed to save heaps of money by locating a trend on the chart and waiting until the tickets are at their lowest.
I also like to occasionally check out Vacations to Go's 90-day cruise ticker I've never been on a cruise but it seems like they have great deals. If anyone has used them I'd love to hear about it.

Buy an expandable file folder and fill it with greeting cards for different occasions. When you do need to buy a card take a bit of extra time at the shop and purchase cards for upcoming occasions as well as a few spare general ones. It will save you from having to stop at the card shop - and save you if you find yourself in need of a card at the last minute.

Freeze meat and marinades together in a zip bag. You can then just pull a pack out of the freezer in the morning and have meat ready to go when you get home. This method requires less marinade so it's a money saver as well.
